The carpenters house story is an amazing old tale, many of you had already read it before. I had just tried to remake it a little.
In a city, there lived a carpenter with many years of experience and was about to retire in a while. He discussed to his builder about his future plans to leave the construction business to live a more comfortable retired life with his loving wife and family. The builder felt sad that his one the best and experienced carpenter is going leave the job soon, but he requested the craftsman to construct just one last house for him.
The carpenter was promised to construct the house for the builder yet his heart was not in his work like it used to be before. He turned to disgraceful workmanship and used very poor materials for constructing the last house of his profession. He thought it was an unfortunate method to end his profession. When the carpenter finished building the house, the contractor came to examine the place.
He checked the complete house and just before he was about to leave the house he handed the main door key to the carpenter. “This is your place,” he stated, “a small gift from my side for you.” This was a large surprise to the carpenter. In spite of the fact that it should be a great surprise, he wasn’t feeling wonderful as he felt deep disgrace inside him. He regretted if he already knew it before, that he was making his own home, he would have done everything so differently. Now he needed to live in the home that wasn't constructed that well.

Just same as the carpenter did, we all assemble our lives in a diverted way, responing rather than acting, ready to put up less rather than the best. Give your complete efforts. Your perspectives and the decisions you make today will be your life tomorrow, so construct it properly.
