When the demon comes to know he doesn't feel good. Now Lazarus goes towards the village and kills an old lady by performing his strange ritual, during this, he takes the soul of the old lady as a moth. And gives this moth to the demon to eat during which we see the real look of the demon. This old lady was the mother of the same person who was shown with Obara at starting. Demon's hunger is not satisfied till now and he says to collect the soul of Mary. From starting Lazarus's planed to win the trust of Mary and give Mary's soul to the demon for his Independence. Demon tries to emotional Lazarus by saying him as the dad, but Lazarus clears him that she is not his daughter. Whatever happened was just a coincidence, for which he is paying till today. Lazarus says demon that Sarah doubts him due to this he can’t get much close to Mary.
At the same time demon says he will manage Sarah. Now Sarah is bathing and the demon takes off the towel from Sarah's face due to which Sarah is enabled to breathe properly. At the same time, William reaches and saves Sarah by saying that no one wants to kill you and it's just your hallucination. After hearing this Sarah was shocked that why she experiencing all this is it is happening. Now demon Sees Lazarus's daughter in the role of Mary and Mary talks to him as like she wants to become a friend. But as Sarah got to know this she goes to look at Mary and notices that Mary is talking to someone, but when she searches she finds no one there. Meanwhile, the person who killed Lazarus's mother he comes into the backyard took that sack in the forest. He tries to kill the demon, but Lazarus comes there and tries to stop him. Unknowingly the person gets killed by Lazarus. Lazarus cries for what he has done for the demon. Demon says he would kill so that his daughter gets away from him.
Lazarus says that she is not his daughter and it was good that he kills her. Lazarus buries the body of this guy and at the same time, Obara comes and attaches to the back of Lazarus. Obara was coming forward to see the sackbut, suddenly Lazarus gets alive saying that he is not a demon a ghost( Sangoma) who can't be killed so easily. Demon gave power to Lazarus that no one kills him so that their business goes on collecting souls. Obara explains much to Lazarus that he will get peace if he listens to Obara, but Lazarus repeats the same thing that if he wants peace so he has to burn everything. Obara understands what he has to do.
Now Lazarus comes back after killing that person So by stealth Sarah goes to the backyard and watches him where he is talking to the demon and the shirt full of blood too remains there. Sarah goes and shows the red shirt to William saying that Lazarus she leave from here right now. Due to this William has to go to Lazarus and he was about to touch that sack at the same time he cuts himself saying that due to this cut only the color of the shirt was red. William permits Lazarus to stay one more night says the same to Sarah on which she gets angry.
Once again Sarah goes to the backyard and opens the gate, she sees a demon and when is about to come out Lazarus arrests her there. During this William went to take diesel for generator between this. Lazarus took Mary somewhere and when William returns home, he finds no one in the house. Villagers were praying in the backyard to perform some ritual, at the same time William keeps a gun on the head of Obara.
Here opens much mystery, in reality, this guy named vatuli was a demon who was according to South Africa's folklore he used to trap sad people so that he can get a human soul. Now when Lazarus's daughter was dead so vatuli took advantage of Lazarus and basically, unknowingly Lazarus sold his soul to a devil due to which he becomes a partner of the devil. The demon became sangomas for vatuli which means neither he was alive nor dead. He was traped in the middle world where he has to give souls to vatuli for eternity and after hearing all these things William gets much angry that neither Mary was there and Sarah too was fainted.
Now Obara gives his man to William he can take them to Mary and they both go back to Mary and here Obara performs a ritual. On the other hand, Mary takes a promise from Lazarus that he will always protect her. Lazarus gives her drunk tea and he too performs some ritual on her. But this time he makes a sign of eight on her forehead. Obara sacrifices a goat and he burns the backyard in the shape of eight. Now it happens that Lazarus collects the soul of Mary in the form of a white moth and he was about to give the soul to demon vatuli in a bottle. There vatuli in real form and at the same time William reaches there, vatuli gets scared and changes himself into the form of a girl and goes into the sack Lazarus hides the soul of Mary at the same time Obara completes his ritual and burn the backyard, due to which backyard including Lazarus gets burned and Mary to remains faint.
Here Sarah hears a voice who was calling her only. Sarah suddenly gets up frightening and cries, on the other hand, William cries seeing Mary as she was left with no soul in her body. Now we see Lazarus and Mary in a different world which was known for NoWhere name "A world full of Emptiness". Here Lazarus apologizes for his mistakes to Mary. He gives her the choice that either she goes back to her dead parent's world or go with her soul in the real world. Mary takes some time to decide and tells that she will go to the real world, but we see that Mary didn't come to the real world and William and Sarah are only there in the house. Now Sarah after some time informs William that she is pregnant, William after listening gets happy and shock. William hugs Sarah and goes out to repair the water pipe.
Now Obara comes there with villagers and tries to console William for Mary's death, but William tells them that she was the daughter of his elder brother and they will miss her and they can take care of themselves. Obara now offers William help but William declines him. When Obara keeps his hand on William's shoulder so William tells him that by their cooperation they can make that place a paradise. On the other hand, we see Sarah playing with the box of Mary and she tells the starting lines" I am the wanderer, I can't be treated or I can't be folded. Sarah takes one moth and eats it and the ends here.
Now you might be confused about what happens at the end? For this, we need to read some theories to understand its end. So the first theory was Obara performed one ritual in the backyard and burned it from that Demon and Lazarus was connected. Lazarus too performed this ritual on Mary to trick the demon. But demon told in stating that he can't be tricked. After this when the demon was getting burnt and approached Sarah.
You might be remembering when Sarah fainted, she heard someone calling her that was demon vatuli only. Doing this Sarah might wish to have her child. She doesn't like Mary from starting. Now” A world of emptiness when Lazarus returned the soul of Mary to her then Mary decided to come in the real world. But Sarah already had a deal with the demon due to which Mary might have reincarnated his worm, but the demon came in Mary because she was eating moth at the end, and in the whole story we only saw demon to eat soul in the role of a moth or one more thing is possible that this demon reincarnated in Sarah’s stomach due to which Sarah’s nature was changed.
Now to make demon eat souls she ate that soul that was Mary’s soul which was stopped by the demon when entering into Mary's body. Because from starting demon wanted Mary's soul. This can be the best theory like Sarah had already deal with the demon. Demon vatuli came in Sarah's worm as the child and he made Sarah as sangomas so that she could collect souls for him. Now Mary decided that she will come real-world and we also see that in the real-world her soul was not there in the bottle. It might be possible that when Lazarus takes out souls from the human body that comes out from their mouth as a moth. When Mary's soul was going back to her body so Sarah holds it, which we saw in the end that Sarah was eating and she also told that She can't be fooled and you are mine forever.
